Booster Club Mission Statement
The mission of the Prince of
Peace Catholic School Athletic Booster Club is to provide loyal support to
the school's DPL athletes with our time, talents, and resources. We
make every effort to operate with open communication, active participation,
cooperation, and above all, the Christian values of our Catholic faith.
Because of the
generosity of our community, the Booster Club has been successful each year
in contributing to the improvement of the school's athletic facilities.
We look forward to the upcoming arrival and installation of lights on the
POP Football Field, and to another year of dedicating ourselves to the
improvement of the athletic program and facilities at Prince of Peace
Catholic School.

With the largest overall participant enrollment of
175 student athletes, POP has a well-established basketball program, already
with a rich history within DPL. No other sport within POP DPL has the level
of participation that DPL basketball provides for our children. The
basketball season averages about 7 to 8 games with the top 8 teams advancing
to the play-offs. POP averages between 15 to 18 teams a year. The Booster

Signups
The deadline to sign up
for DPL basketball, swimming, or tennis will be 3:00 p.m. this Tuesday,
October 17th. All the necessary forms are in the Athletic office. There will
be no exceptions after this date. Basketball tryouts for boys are Wednesday
the 18th and for girls are Thursday the 19th. Here are the following
times, all times are final:
BOYS
Wednesday , October 18th
5:00-6:30pm- 6th grade
6:30-8:00pm- 7th grade
8:00-9:15pm- 8th grade
GIRLS
Thursday, October 19th
5:30-6:45pm- 6th grade
6:45-8:00pm-7th grade
8:00-
9:15pm- 8th grade

Additional Basketball Info
All 5th grade teams will be divided evenly by the Athletic
Director.
